About the position
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you are responsible for the optimal functioning of our warehouse. You lead the warehouse team, ensure a safe, organized, and efficient working environment, and guarantee a correct flow of goods. In this key role, you work closely with colleagues from logistics, procurement, and sales to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Coordinating all incoming and outgoing goods flows
- Leading warehouse employees and daily planning
- Monitoring inventory management, order processing, and quality control
- Optimizing warehouse layout and work processes
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Conducting periodic inventories and reporting
- Point of contact for internal departments and transporters
Profile
- Minimum MBO working and thinking level, preferably in logistics or supply chain
- Demonstrable experience in warehouse management or logistics (minimum 3 years)
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Hands-on mentality and stress-resistant
- Familiarity with warehouse software and inventory management
- Eye for detail, safety, and efficiency
- Good command of Dutch; basic knowledge of English is a plus
