For our Branch in Suriname, we are hiring; Warehouse Assistant
Job Description
The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting the basic operations within the warehouse, including receiving, storing, inventory control, and dispatching goods. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of these processes and be able to contribute effectively to achieving departmental objectives.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials
- Support daily warehouse operations and logistics
- Team player
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Results-oriented
- Basic English proficiency (a second language is a plus)
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations (inventory and dispatch)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Basic knowledge of office equipment (laptops, printers, scanners)
- Forklift operation experience is a plus (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Driving license is preferred but not mandatory
